Company
As early as 1967, the Ralph Schöpp KG was the first carpet manufacturer to produce a textile floor covering for a tennis hall – a needle felt. Since then more than 3500 courts of SCHÖPP-Tennis-Carpets have been installed all over Europe.
Ralph Schöpp jun., the Managing Director of the Schöpp-Sportboden GmbH, founded in 1994, is a textile engineer and has been in charge of the production and the distribution of tennis hall floor coverings for more than 20 years.
In 1996, the distribution company for Switzerland was founded, managed by Micaela Fischer Schöpp.
In
1997, a new tufting production was established in Remscheid and at the same
time, the family enterprise received further support with the entry of Michael
Schöpp.
An essential enlargement of the range of products was accomplished in 2001. Firstly, an artificial grass production plant was set up and then, a production facility for the extruder granulates Perfect Glide was integrated as well.
Our range of offered products is completed for hall equipments and accessories such as ball stopping curtains, which are also custom-made in our company.
The Schöpp-Sportboden GmbH looks back to long years of experience and distinguishes herself by flexibility, high quality thinking and an innovative product development.
Contrary
to other tennis carpet producers, we sell directly to the hall owner, thus
offering everything, from the development up to the installation of the carpets,
SINGLE HANDED.
