Choose the best floor covering for your tennis hall
When renovating your tennis hall floor covering, you certainly take your clients’ expectations as to the features of the new indoor carpet into consideration. There are, however, tremendous regional differences. It is therefore important to find out how to approach the preferences of the players and how to have the edge on competing halls in your neighbourhood.
The main distinguishing features are: characteristics of ball bounce, movement comfort, maintenance, and whether to play with profiled or non-profiled shoes.
Basically, here are the following different types of textile flooring materials for tennis halls:
- Classic, smooth velour carpets SCHÖPP-Classic
- Structured tufted carpets with or without extruder tennisgranulate filling
SCHÖPP-Allround,
SCHÖPP-Slide - Needle felt carpets, in velour- or nop-structure SCHÖPP-Competition NV / NN
- Artificial grass with quartz sand filling SCHÖPP-LSR 25mm
- Structured synthetic surface for multifunctional use: SCHÖPP-Challenge
PERFECT-GLIDE, our patented micro-granulate!
The SCHÖPP-Slide and also the SCHÖPP-Allround, if preferred, are equipped
with our dust free and odourless micro-granulate, which has improved the hall
climate in many tennis halls in Germany and in Switzerland and also provides
excellent sliding properties.
