Tennis-Granulate
Perfect Glide - the revolutionary development in the field of granulates
The sliding systems of the past, used to have a number of weaknesses, due to the granulates used: Quartz sand was too abrasive and destroyed the carpets rapidly, whereas, the rubber granulates were too soft and irregular of shape so that they are triturated relatively quickly. Both sliding media are controversial because they are developing dust, which means that they have unpleasant side effects such as breathing difficulties, contaminated clothing and they require a great deal of cleaning in the tennis hall and in the changing and social rooms.
A new production method has enabled us to make remarkable progress. Perfect Glide, unlike other granulates, is not ground from a rubber block, but spun into filaments through an extruding machine and then cut into defined pieces in a cold bath. This production method allows producing a fine and dust free micro-granulate.
