For 30 years, Ralph, Michael & Micaela Schöpp have been your contacts for all things tennis flooring. Schöpp-Sportboden GmbH specializes in the development, production, delivery, and installation of tennis courts, mobile and permanent badminton courts, as well as ball-stop nets and granules.

1954
Ralph Schöpp Senior founded the carpet weaving company Ralph Schöpp KG in Wermelskirchen-Dabringhausen
1969
Development and installation of the first textile tennis surface in Germany.
1994
Ralph Schöpp Junior founded Schöpp-Sportboden GmbH in Gevelsberg, a trading company for tufted tennis hall surfaces.
1996
Expansion into Switzerland : Schöpp-Sportboden GmbH in Rüti is founded by Micaela Fischer (née Schöpp).
1995
Development of the dust-free extruded granulate Perfect-Glide.
1995
Introduction of the reusable installation technique with permanently elastic fixing adhesive.
1997
Michael Schöpp completes the team. The company headquarters will be in Remscheid, and the production site with two tufting machines will be built in the Bergisch Born industrial park.
2003
Construction of the granulation plant for Perfect-Glide.
2005
Expansion of the production hall and installation of a third tufting machine for artificial turf surfaces.
2010
Rental of a second production hall of 1,000 square meters and construction of a coating system.
2014
Eric Fischer, son of Micaela Fischer (née Schöpp), joins the second office in Switzerland.
2012
Development of polymer coatings that are sustainable, filler-free and highly recyclable.

Moritz Schöpp , son of Ralph and tennis player Alice Schöpp (née Danila), joins the company.
